Co to jest KB token?

KB token (inaczej token mobilny) jest aplikacją instalowaną w telefonie komórkowym Klienta, umożliwiającą generowanie haseł jednorazowych, które pozwalają na logowanie oraz autoryzację wybranych transakcji w KB24 - serwisie bankowości elektronicznej Kredyt Banku S.A.
KB token pracuje w trybie offline, tzn. w trakcie użytkowania nie nawiązuje połączenia z żadnym systemem bankowym i nie są wysyłane żadne wiadomości SMS. Połączenie z internetem wymagane jest jedynie w trakcie pobierania, aktywacji lub zmiany PIN w KB tokenie.

Czy KB token jest bezpieczny?

Hasła jednorazowe generowane przez KB token są unikalne i przypisane do konkretnej transakcji. Dzięki zastosowaniu funkcji Dodatkowej Weryfikacji Danych można sprawdzić czy transakcja realizowana jest zgodnie z dyspozycją co znacznie ogranicza ryzyko ataków hakerskich.
Dostęp do KB tokena zabezpieczony jest 6-cyfrowym numerem PIN nadanym przez Użytkownika. PIN nie jest przechowywany w aplikacji oraz nie jest po stronie aplikacji weryfikowany - oznacza to, że nawet przejęcie telefonu i rozkodowanie aplikacji nie pozwoli na poznanie numeru PIN.

Jak zacząć korzystać z KB tokena?

Klienci korzystający dotychczas z listy haseł jednorazowych lub tokena sprzętowego mogą dokonać zmiany metody autoryzacji w momencie, gdy w serwisie KB24 po zalogowaniu pojawi się monit informujący o takiej możliwości.
Nowi Klienci, którym został wysłany kod aktywacyjny do KB tokena w momencie udostępniania usługi KB24 powinni pobrać aplikację i aktywować ją za pomocą wysłanego wcześniej kodu.

What is KB token?

KB token (or mobile token) is an application, which is installed in the mobile phone and enables generating one-time passwords for logging and for signing transactions in KB24 - e-banking service of Kredyt Bank S.A.
Mobile token operates in offline mode, which means that in the process of generating passwords it does not connect to any of banking systems and any text messages are not sent. Connection to internet is required only during downloading, activation and changing PIN in KB token.

Is it safe?

One-time passwords which are generated by the KB token are unique and assigned to particular transaction. By using the Additional Data Verification functions it is possible to check whether execute of transaction is reconcilable with disposition – it considerably reduced the risk of hacker attacks. Access to KB token is protected by the 6-digits PIN number which is granted by the User. PIN is not storage in the application and is not verified on the application – it means, even interception the phone and decoding application disallow to know the PIN number.

How to get started KB token?

Customers who use one-time passwords list or hardware token until now, can change the method of authorization, when on the site after logging in KB24 service will show up this possibility.
